Samsung announces Galaxy S Advance

The korean company has announced its new mid range smartphone. The Advance Galaxy S is between Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S II.

So it's a Galaxy S incorporating best characteristics. It has a 4 inches Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a processor running at 1 GHz and 768 MB of RAM. It features a 5 MP camera with LED flash, while the front facing camera has 1.3 MP sensor.

On the software side, Android Gingerbread will be installed on the smartphone, with the usual software overlay: Samsung TouchWiz. The ChatON chat application will be also present. No price has been announced yet, but it should be launched next month.
